Group Health Cooperative (GHC) of Puget Sound is the nation's largest member-governed healthcare organization. As part of their service, GHC fielded surveys among their members to rate healthcare provider performance and gather information regarding the nature of their visit and personal demographics. The results were entered in a Sybase database. With this valuable data in hand, GHC needed a way for healthcare providers to securely view their performance and for the organization to be able to generate reports at local and regional levels.
DataHouse leveraged GHC's Lotus Notes servers and the corporate intranet to deploy reports via a Web browser interface. Real-time queries were made possible by using DataHouse's Java software that provides built in data-access, mapping, and document generation.
