When the former Honolulu Cellular Telecommunications (HCTC) merged with AT&T Wireless, the corporate restructuring brought about new business processes for their staff. Part of the restructuring included the creation of a testing group. Corporate AT&T Wireless provided Hawaii's testing group with its standard test processes. The new testing group was comprised of ex-HCTC employees who were faced with the task of implementing a testing process that was unfamiliar to them.
Testing Education Helps Staff Move Forward
The DataHouse TestTeam reviewed the AT&T Wireless test processes and developed a customized education session to review and help the testers understand the process components. The DataHouse test processes were paralleled alongside the AT&T test processes and real examples of the implemented DataHouse process were provided to fully illustrate a complete process from start to finish. DataHouse's automated tools were demonstrated and the usage of these automated tools were reviewed and discussed. Through DataHouse's testing education services, AT&T staff members were able to make a smoother transition to their new role.
