Nintendo is the acknowledged worldwide leader in the creation of interactive entertainment. DataHouse is developing several Web applications for Nintendo using a wide range of technologies. The applications include: an e-commerce component for their consumer Web site, a secured retailer extranet, a quality control tracking system for game software, and a corporate intranet.
Corporate Intranet
As part of an effort to build a stronger team approach among its employees at Nintendo of America Inc., a company-wide intranet is being developed. The overall objective of the intranet is to improve the employee's "life at work" by providing a knowledge base of information, enhancing collaboration and workflow, and delivering of information that contribute to personal quality of life.
Web site features include employee directory and conference room look-ups, on-line forms, company news, product information, industry news and events calendar to name a few.
On the backend, the infrastructure needed to be reliable, flexible and easily integrated into Nintendo's systems with high availability, redundancy, and scalability for the future.
DataHouse services utilized in this solution have been: Project Management, Systems Integration, Software Application Development, Information Architecture/Design, and Technical Planning and Development.
