Role Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT Support Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless network operations, and providing technical support to our staff.

This internship offers hands-on experience in various IT functions, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network systems, and assisting with the setup of new equipment. Additionally, this role is a great opportunity for candidates interested in learning and pursuing a career in DevOps.

Main Accountabilities

Weekly Tasks:

  • Check the network system, Wi-Fi, time attendance machines, cameras, printers, and other devices.

Daily Tasks:

  • Monitor the network system to ensure smooth and uninterrupted communication.
  • Assist in setting up computers for new employees.
  • Manage Wi-Fi access (approve registrations, grant/revoke access).
  • Coordinate with suppliers for repairs, upgrades, and maintenance of computers and office equipment.
  • Configure shared devices (TVs, projectors, speakers, etc.) to ensure they function accurately and continuously.

DevOps

  • Learning and support DevOps tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Proficient in using computers, tablets, MS Office, and Windows operating systems. Candidates with good knowledge of MacOS and Linux are preferred.
  • Experience in troubleshooting computer issues, hardware, and software compatibility with different operating systems.
  • Experience working with infrastructure supporting over 100 users.
  • In-depth knowledge of network technology, OSI model, TCP/IP, IPv6, IP address management, WAN optimization, and access control.
