Job Summary
This position will be responsible for leading and executing the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud modules across financial and operational domains. The SAP Functional Expert will ensure that solutions align with industry best practices and regulatory compliance, focusing on enhancing financial performance and operational efficiency. The role also involves leading workshops, gathering business requirements, and providing post-implementation support.
Main Accountabilities
- Lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA modules, including Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Grant Management (Public Sector Management version)
- Configure and customize SAP solutions to meet business requirements, focusing on New General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), Funds and Grants Management, Asset Accounting, Cash Management, and US Compliance Reporting.
- Oversee migrations for Central Finance strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops to gather requirements and promote adherence to SAP best practices.
- Identify gaps and work with SAP Technical Team to design solutions.
- Ensure compliance with US GASB standards.
- Develop end-to-end test scripts for system validation and quality assurance.
- Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Create Functional Specification Documents and conduct user training sessions to ensure successful adoption of SAP solutions.
- Continuously monitor and optimize system performance to meet evolving business needs.
Job Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience & Skills
- Have at least 5 years of experience as an SAP Functional Expert focusing on S/4HANA implementations.
- Bring extensive experience in Financials (FI), Controlling (CO)
- Experience in SAP Public Sector Management version preferred.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead workshops and influence business decisions towards standard best practices.
- Demonstrate ability to lead other SAP Functional Resources and manage their workloads
- Possess strong technical skills in SAP configuration, customization, and integration.
- Hold the SAP S/4HANA Finance Certified Professional certification.
- Exhibit advanced knowledge of US GASB
- Leverage experience in Central Finance strategy and SAP migrations.
- Show familiarity with writing and executing end-to-end test scripts.
- Be fully fluent in English.
