Software Delivery Manager

• Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Project health tracking with other project managers and support by doing internal steering commute meetings and observing the project activities
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues that may impact delivery.
• Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring that project teams have the necessary skills and capacity to meet project requirements while optimizing resource utilization.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, managing client expectations and facilitating clear communication channels.
• Conduct regular status meetings with project teams and clients to provide updates on project status, discuss deliverables, and address any concerns or changes in scope.
• Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices for project delivery, conducting regular quality reviews to ensure adherence to client requirements and company standards.
• Manage project budgets and expenses, tracking financial metrics closely to ensure profitability and alignment with financial targets.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to optimize performance and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project processes, enhance service delivery, and add value to client projects.
• Evaluating consumer feedback and instituting changes as necessary to manage expectations (by doing steering commute meetings with the client)
• Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring transparency in financial management practices.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.  

Experience & Skills: 

• Proven experience (around 7 years) in project management, preferably in the IT outsourcing industry. 
• Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is required (HSK Level 3+ or equivalent certification preferred). Proficiency in English is a plus. 
• Solid experience with telecom domain projects or telecom service platforms. 
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. 
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams. 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. 
• Solid understanding of budgeting, financial management, and profitability analysis. 
• PMP or other project management certifications preferred. 
• Proficiency in project management software.
