Role Purpose
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Delivery Manager to oversee the successful delivery of projects within the company. The Delivery Manager will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and client expectations to ensure the timely and quality delivery of services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of leading successful project teams.
Main Accountabilities
- Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- Project health tracking with other project managers and support by doing internal steering commute meetings and observe in the project activities
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues that may impact delivery.
- Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring that project teams have the necessary skills and capacity to meet project requirements while optimizing resource utilization.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, managing client expectations and facilitating clear communication channels.
- Conduct regular status meetings with project teams and clients to provide updates on project status, discuss deliverables, and address any concerns or changes in scope.
- Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices for project delivery, conducting regular quality reviews to ensure adherence to client requirements and company standards.
- Manage project budgets and expenses, tracking financial metrics closely to ensure profitability and alignment with financial targets.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to optimize performance and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project processes, enhance service delivery, and add value to client projects.
- Evaluating consumer feedback and instituting changes as necessary to manage expectations (by doing steering commute meetings with the client)
- Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring transparency in financial management practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field.
- Proven experience (around 6 years) in project management, preferably in the IT outsourcing industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, financial management, and profitability analysis.
- PMP or other project management certifications preferred.
- Proficiency in project management software.
