Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and driven Mid to Senior-level Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and expansion of our business in the US and APAC markets, focusing on strategic sales and marketing initiatives within the IT software development and IT healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in identifying new opportunities, fostering client relationships, and supporting our Business Development Executives and Global Sales team. 

The successful candidate will: 

  • Have proven experience in business development and sales with a strong track record of achieving targets, preferably within the IT software development and healthcare technology sectors. 
  • Possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills in English. 
  • Be adept at working both independently and as part of a team, showcasing strong collaborative skills. 
  • Demonstrate a strategic mindset, capable of driving business growth through innovative strategies. 

Main Accountabilities

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities:
    • Conduct in-depth market research to pinpoint potential clients and industries ripe for IT solutions, with a keen focus on software development and healthcare technology. 
    • Utilize advanced lead generation strategies, including digital platforms and industry events, to cultivate a robust pipeline of potential clients and partnerships. 
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients/partnership and opportunities. 
  1. Build and maintain client relationships:
    • Establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients. 
    • Facilitate strategic client meetings aimed at uncovering new opportunities and reinforcing existing partnerships. 
  1. Sales and marketing activities:
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients. 
    • Maintain sales pipeline data and reporting. 
    • Assist in the creation of marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and proposals. 
    • Familiarity in Contract Management is a plus. 
  1. Market intelligence and analysis:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. 
    • Analyse market data to identify potential areas for business growth. 
    • Provide insights and recommendations to the management team based on market analysis. 
  1. Reporting and documentation:
    • Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, client interactions, and strategic advancements. 
    • Generate insightful reports that track sales performance, market trends, and business development strategies. 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business / Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in client-facing roles such as business development, sales, marketing, or similar positions.  
  • Comfortable navigating uncertainty and ambiguity in business development scenarios. 
  • The 2-year work experience must be in IT software development and consulting field. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Strong administration and task/document organizational skill.  
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other digital daily office operation tools. 
  • Good knowledge of market research and analysis techniques. 
  • Good negotiation and presentation abilities.
