Job Summary
The Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative IT solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for ensuring that solutions are not only technically sound but also aligned with business goals and industry best practices. As a Solution Architect, you will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that the solutions are scalable, efficient, and meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Main Accountabilities
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet their needs and objectives.
- Design architectural solutions, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and reliability, to address complex business challenges effectively.
- Develop detailed architecture diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans to guide development teams and ensure alignment with architectural standards and guidelines.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability through effective architectural design and implementation.
- Ensuring that the solution complies with security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Incorporating security controls and measures to protect sensitive data and mitigate security risks.
- Designing interfaces and integration points to enable seamless communication and interoperability between different systems, applications, and components within the solution landscape.
- Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for performance improvement, proactively addressing any architectural issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions within time and budget constraints.
- Assess potential impact on existing architecture and recommend strategic initiatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, promoting knowledge sharing, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Job Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in solution architecture, software development, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is required (HSK Level 3+ or equivalent certification preferred). Proficiency in English is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in designing and implementing complex IT solutions using a variety of technologies and platforms.
- Solid experience with telecom domain projects or telecom service platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, security, performance optimization, and best practices.
- Experience with modular architecture, microservices architecture, and other scalable architectural approaches.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Familiar with DevOps practices, cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Salesforce certifications) are preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform, including customization, integration, and deployment of Salesforce-based solutions (is a plus)
