HONOLULU, HI – DataHouse is pleased to announce the addition of Hong Phan to the executive team as Chief Technical Architect.
Prior to joining the DataHouse family, Hong provided direction and specialist knowledge in developing, selecting, and implementing information systems within client businesses as the Senior Director of Technology Services at BIAS Corporation in San Diego, California. She has over 25 years of experience in the space and a winning background providing stakeholders with architecture framework that supported processes, strategy, and IT assets.
“DataHouse is really fortunate and blessed to have someone of Hong’s caliber and credentials joining our team and ‘ohana ,” says Eddie Ontai, President of DataHouse. “She’s really the full package – strategic and a big thinker, but also practical and knows what it takes to execute well. It’s not often you find someone at her level of experience that can do both. But most importantly, her character and values are a perfect fit within our culture – she’s family-motivated and humble to the core.”
Hong will be responsible for growing the business and elevating DataHouse’s offerings to create more value for clients. As more organizations struggle to make that digital transformation, Hong’s expertise will be key for leveraging IP developed here in the islands for local businesses, as well as, mainland clients.
“I feel privileged and excited to join the DataHouse team and ‘ohana,” says Hong. “I’ve worked at a number of mega corporations over the last 25 years from EDS and HP to Oracle and understand what it takes to be successful. However, there was always a part of me that felt incomplete and unsatisfied. I did not feel I belonged to anything bigger, did not feel I was valued as more than just an employee. DataHouse attracted me because of its commitment to family values and its core beliefs. I’m excited about the opportunity to join and cannot wait to see how our ‘ohana will grow beyond the island.”
